In 2010, a grant from the U.S. Department of Justice (Bureau of Justice Assistance) provided a unique opportunity for the Florida Office of the Attorney General to assemble a panel of criminal justice and community leaders from the national and state level. The goal was to discuss and identify the top crime prevention issues facing the black community in a more deliberate manner and link them with evidence based program examples. The attached report is a summary of those discussions.
